As a New York native, Alexa grew up going to Broadway shows and loved singing opera and Judy Garland around the house as a little girl.

Alexa has been performing professionally since she was 8 years old and moved to Philadelphia in 2017 to earn her BFA in Musical Theatre at Temple University. It was here that she not only honed her skills as a performer but also explored other artistic facets such as directing, makeup design, devised production creation and more.

Some of her favorite projects include working with The American Pops Orchestra, The Philadelphia Pops Orchestra, Arden Theatre Company, American Theater Group, One Year Lease, and has been seen on NBC & CNN.

Activism and performance have always gone hand in hand for Alexa. She is a firm believer that art should be used to shape our world and hold up a mirror to our society. She is extremely invested in using the performing arts to give back to her community and is a dedicated teaching artist. One of her passions includes working with Theatre Horizon’s Autism Drama Program where she teaches all aspects of theatre from staging, playwriting, dramaturgy and beyond to youth with special needs.

In her free time you can find Alexa practicing her boxing skills, cooking Italian food, baking her Grandma’s recipes, gardening or hanging out with her cat Chickpea!
